PLANNING
I’ve fallen in love with planning recently, in particular planning my future.
I plan things i’m not even sure I am going to do, it helps me to feel slightly more in control of my life and things that may occur in the future. i’ve found that planning makes me feel much better when other things aren’t going my way
Planning is a thing that anyone can introduce, simple ways such as to do lists, ideas for weekends, itineraries and more. i’ve done some research on benefits of planning, the most notable being,
-reduces anxiety~gives you a sense of control, reducing anxiety.
-increases productivity~prioritising tasks that need to be completed
-better time management~allows you to allocate your time efficiently, putting more structure into your days.
-boosts confidence~helps give you a grasp on your life, helps you realise you can accomplish what you set out to do.
all of these things are helpful when trying to remodel your life or mentality as I am attempting to do in 2025 myself- a full reset if you will, something I would like to cover in an entry, how i’ve gone about it.
Planning gives you a sense of direction, it can help you set goals, and also give you a roadmap to completing them. it also reduces risk of burnout, burnout can lead to so many mental health issues, physical issues etc.
so maybe it is something to try to make you feel better about life in all aspects.
how I plan:
define your goals
Break it down
set a timeline
prioritise tasks
create a schedule or to do list.
track your progress.
this is just how I do it, there are so many other ways that may work for you, everyone is different so trial and error- whatever works best for you- get planning!
